The event will provide the occasion to present the final results of a pilot project carried out by Campania DIH, Confindustria Avellino and Stazione Sperimentale per l’Industria delle Pelli e delle materie conciarie (Experimental Station for the Leather and Tanning Industry), aimed at measuring the digital maturity of companies in the Leather Supply Chain in Campania.
Debate will also deal with possible technological solutions to improve products and make production processes more sustainable.
One of the technologies addressed will be blockchain, an innovation at the forefront of the certification sector, capable of guaranteeing transparency and traceability of the entire supply chain in order to certify, in this specific case, the quality and sustainability of processes and products.
