Why was Workers Badge/Blockchain Credentials created and what does it represent?
W.B. is a Web3 application by Mediterraneo Lab 4.0 SRL, entirely customized, with a registered trademark in Europe and the U.S.A., and designed according to a method now recognized as a patent in Italy (UIBM n. 102020000007453) and the United States of America (USPTO n. 0334608 A1) that allows students, company workers, professionals and job seekers to build a digital Electronic File that keeps track of their verifiable credentials, registered on Blockchain, in the world of work such as: certificates for training courses, exams, titles, company roles, projects and benefits received.
We are also developing a virtual agent (AI MENTOR) based on Artificial Intelligence that acts as a facilitator and orienteer for users, who will be able to receive suggestions and advice on the courses to choose, based on parameters such as the skills already in the portfolio, the desired career and/or company needs, and, according to the new European paradigms of skills validation, certify a professional family. The digital curriculum based on blockchain, and guided by AI, will solve the problem of verifiability on DLTs of the identity of all Stakeholders and the real skills/qualifications/activities, allowing HR Officers to save time and money in the Hiring process of candidates and for the latter to demonstrate their real expertise with a win-win logic also for third parties with different interests such as Employment Agencies, Institutions and all other Stakeholders in the world of Work.

- Create a collaborative ecosystem: Develop a network of partners who can share knowledge, data, resources, best practices and create value in the Internet of Careers sector
WORKERS BADGE/BLOCKCHAIN CREDENTIALS Application Examples
– Digital Certifications: Issuing and verifying certificates in open badge 3.0 format on blockchain, with NFT-type assets, guaranteeing authenticity and verifiability of data on the person and training events and exams.
– Tracking of Skills: Platform for the delivery of training content in person and digitally (synchronous and asynchronous), monitoring and traceability of the same events (training actions), and, finally, the validation of skills.
– Management of Exams: Trust system for the management and registration of simulations and exams to verify skills.
– Administrative Transparency: transparency in accountability processes also with a view to sustainability towards the authorities delegated to control.
– Automation: thanks to Smart Contracts, users will be able to automatically obtain verifiable credentials on the platform and in their electronic file, blockchain based, accessible by all interested Stakeholders.
